The Details: While the cost of Bread remains high due to global wheat prices, the local markets in Kano, Abuja, and Lagos are seeing a massive sell-off.

• Rice: A 50kg bag of foreign parboiled rice that cost over ₦80,000 last year is now selling for as low as ₦53,000 in some northern markets.

• Beans: White beans have dropped from ₦95,000 a bag to roughly ₦60,000.

Why are prices dropping? Traders attribute this "miracle" to improved harvests and the recent stability of the Naira. However, the cost of groundnut oil and palm oil is still creeping up, so your budget isn't safe yet.
